सावित्र्युपाख्यानम् - 293-299 वनपर्व महाभारतम् (पतिव्रता-माहात्म्य-पर्व) (गीताप्रेस्-गोरखपुर)
श्लोकः - 3.293.2

मूलम्-  
द्यूते दुरात्मभिः क्लिष्टाः कृष्णया तारिता वयम् ।
जयद्रथेन च पुनर्वनादपहृता बलात् ॥2॥

पदविभागः-  
द्यूते दुरात्मभिः क्लिष्टाः कृष्णया तारिताः वयम् । जयद्रथेन च पुनः वनाद् अपहृता बलात् ॥
 
अन्वयः-  
वयम् दुरात्मभिः द्यूते क्लिष्टाः। कृष्णया तारिताः (च) । पुनः जयद्रथेन च वनाद् बलात् अपहृता ॥2॥
 
प्रतिपदार्थः- 
वयम् = we (Pandavas, five brothers)
दुरात्मभिः = by the evil-natured people (Dhritarashtra's sons)
द्यूते = in game of dice
क्लिष्टाः = afflicted, tormented
कृष्णया = by Draupadī 
तारिताः = are saved or rescued, escaped from
पुनः = again
जयद्रथेन च = by Jayadratha
वनाद् = from forest
बलात् = by force
अपहृता = carried away

तात्पर्यम्-
दुरात्मा धृतराष्ट्रपुत्रोंने धूएके समय हमलोगोंको भारी संकट में डाल दिया था, परं तु इस द्रौपदी ने हमे बचा लिया । फिर जयद्रथ ने इस वन से इसका बलपर्वूक अपहरण किया॥२॥

We were tormented by those ill-natured people, in the dice-game. And Draupadi rescued us. She was taken away from the forest through force by Jayadratha.

(*Draupadi had name Kṛṣṇā - as she was dark in complexion.
*Jayadratha is husband of Duśśalā, sister of Duyodhana.
*The five Paṇdava brothers were wronged by 100 Dhārtarāṣṭras by playing dice. The dice was fixed to give result that the latter wanted.)
